Theme: Frontiers: A New era of space exploration

Launched in 2017, The Space Consortium is an MA-based, space academics and researchers-led 501(c)(3) non-profit and public charity dedicated to democratizing space knowledge. The Consortium organizes annual space education initiatives free and open to all, including Massachusetts Space Week each April and the newly launched Space Consortium Space Days during the Cambridge Science Festival.

Supported by the Massachusetts Space Grant, these programs bring together experts and enthusiasts across the state. This year, as co-curators of the Cambridge Science Festival Frontiers program, The Space Consortium is bringing you two full days packed with over 15 exciting space events, including astronaut talks, school visits, stargazing, space trivia and so much more!

Here’s a preview of everything that awaits you

Cambridge Science Festival is an annual, week-long celebration of ingenuity, creativity and innovation. Highlighting pioneers in science, technology, engineering, art, and math, the Festival is a multifaceted, multicultural event, making science accessible, interactive and fun.

This year, two Space Days on the theme of “FRONTIERS: A New Era of Space Exploration” are scheduled on Friday, Sept. 27th and Saturday, Sept. 28th.
