Massachusetts Space Week, 8th Ed. Will Take Place from April 20th to April 26th 2026
THEME: REACHING THE SKY
“Ignition”, “Ready for Launch”, and Massachusetts Space Week 2026 Program
Program Track & Color Guide
To celebrate the diverse ways audiences experience space, the Ignition event series and Massachusetts Space Week feature multiple programming tracks, spanning family activities, public events, and expert discussions. A color-coding system helps participants quickly identify events of interest:
Green: Events designed for broad public audiences
Yellow: Family-friendly activities, especially suited for young children (K-6)
Red: Advanced and expert programming for college students, researchers, and space sector professionals
Making Space Week accessible to all
Some venues (expert conferences, movie theaters, selected museums, Massachusetts Space Day, and the Space Week Gala) will host ticketed events. As a Massachusetts Card to Culture organization, The Space Consortium and its partners are committed to ensuring that Massachusetts Space Week remains welcoming and open to all. Complimentary tickets are made available through The Space Consortium Accessibility Fund for low-income households eligible through the EBT program. Eligible participants may request tickets by completing the Space Week 2026 Ticket Access Form before April 15, 2026.
The Space Film Festival also prioritizes inclusive viewing experiences. Whenever an open-captioned version of a selected film exists, that version will be used.
